Glitterpill at Eradicate Hate Global Summit 2023

In late September several members of the Glitterpill team took part in the Eradicate Hate Global Summit in Pittsburgh.

Eradicate Hate was established in the aftermath of the antisemitic October 27, 2018 shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh where eleven lives were taken. During the summit we had the honor of connecting with several survivors of the attack, and survivors and individuals affected by extremism and hate from around the globe.

Eradicate Hate is an inspiring event, bringing together passionate individuals from all walks of life who share the common goal of fighting back against hatred and violence. Participants range from government officials to former extremists, from survivors to researchers who have dedicated themselves to the challenging task of tackling these complex issues.

Connecting with these diverse communities and stakeholders has given us an opportunity to explore new partnerships and opportunities to create a positive impact as we join forces against the global harms caused by radicalization and violent extremists.

Throughout the summit, we engaged in conversations, exchanged ideas, and learned from the diverse perspectives shared by attendees and speakers. The energy and enthusiasm in the air were contagious, and it reaffirmed our belief in the power of collective action.

As we enter a busy fall we are excited to reflect on our experiences and to build further on the valuable insights and relationships we gained during this transformative event as we continue our work, to eradicate hate.
